Drug Management Queue

Drug Management Troubleshooting

Description

When results are returned, they will follow the matching criteria set under the custom drug screen configuration screen and the results can be managed in the drug management queue. If a drug screen result is returned and not automatically assigned to a pending search ID, then the result will be routed to the Drug Management Queue. This queue is located under QA -> Drug Management.

The Drug Matching Import Options and Their Descriptions

1. Associate all results with existing matches to the appropriate account and user and create new reports for new applicant automatically to this client and default user

If a report is found for the subject, a new search will be added to the report and completed with the drug results.

If a report is not found for the subject, a new report and search will be ordered and completed with the drug results.

2. Associate all results with existing matches and hold all drug screening results that don't have an matching order

If a report is found for the subject, a new search will be added to the report and completed with the drug results.

If a report is not found for the subject, the results will go into the unmatched orders section and a user will have to choose how to process the search.

3. Hold all drug screening results for this client for manual assignment

All results will be held in the management queue and a user will have to choose how to process the search.

4. Always create a new report and complete the search

When a drug result is received for a specific client, the system will ALWAYS create a new order, and complete it - no matching to client / order / donor is required. No review/release of the order is required.

When this option is selected and results are received, a new report is created, the received results are used to complete the search without intervention and the order moves to complete status.

5. Associate all results with existing (donor + product) matches and hold all drug screening results that don't have a matching order (based on donor name + SSN + product code)

When this option is selected and results are received:

if an order exists in the system where DONOR INFORMATION AND PRODUCT CODE match the results, then the orders are matched and placed in the matched queue.

if an order exists in the system and ONLY DONOR INFORMATION matches the results, then the orders are NOT matched. These results are placed in the unmatched queue.

*NOTE* For ANY option selected, if a duplicate result is returned with the same specimen ID as an existing result, then the duplicate result will move into the drug matching queue for cancellation or review.

Drug Management Queue

Below is a screenshot of active orders in the Drug Management queue and the available processing options.

Matched orders - Results that have been matched to an existing order in your system. You can complete these or delete them.

Unmatched orders - Results that weren't matched to existing searches. This could be due to a difference from the original order and the result between DOB, SSN, Product Code, name, or Specimen ID.

Admin Users will be able to use a Type-Ahead menu when managing Unmatched orders.

After typing in the first 3 letters of a client name, the Type-Ahead field will populate with the names of matching clients and HR users under that client.

The options for processing are:

1. Order as New Search for Current Client, and place additional orders for Applicant

2. Delete this search without Ordering

3. Associate to existing search

*NOTE* If an order is later placed by your client which matches a result, the system will periodically scan and match the unmatched results to searches that have been ordered since.’

Drug Management Troubleshooting

Step 1: Verify Import Options for the product are correct

  • System Settings -> Searches -> Custom Drug Screening Setup -> Select the drug screen from the dropdown

mceclip1.png

Step 2: Check the Order to verify the information in the XML matches up with the settings in the system:

  • From the drug queue, click to view the xml of the result in question.

  • Look for the OrganizationId

  • Compare this against the client's"additional settings" (in client editor).

    • i3 Screen

      • i3Screen Location Id

      • i3Screen Organization Id (OrgID)

    • Labcorp

      • Labcorp Account Number

      • Labcorp Location ID

      • If empty or they don't match, it should be configured so the system knows which client the orgid belongs to
