  • Activity log displaying statuses on the collection, expiration, etc.

  • Configure multiple accounts under one client to accommodate for DOT and Non-DOT screenings.

Contact Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings

Thomas Campbell | Specialty Development Executive | Occupational Testing Services

Phone: 713-823-8187 (voice calls only) [email protected]

1. Submit a support ticket with with deverus stating that you would like to get integrated with Labcorp to create a TPA account.

2. deverus will send the"Labcorp Webservices Client Setup Form" to CRA who will complete just the top portion of the form and provide their signature. CRA will send form back to deverus through ticket and deverus will complete the technical section of the attached below. (Please note that it is important that no dashes be added to the UserID.)

3. Once completed, deverus will forward the form to Labcorp. It must be sent to [email protected]

CRAs only need to complete the highlighted section in red.

It is extremely important the client does not attempt to change credentials to their WebService Account.

4. Labcorp will send back the CRA User ID and Password. Please update the support ticket with this information to complete the integration set-up.

5. Once Labcorp sends you Panel IDs (product codes) for end-users, you are able to complete the rest of the setup below!

Product Setup

Step 1: Gather Labcorp Product Data

It is important to work with Labcorp to generate the Panel ID and Account Number for the specific drug screening product(s) to be integrated through the deverus platform. Once these are provided by Labcorp, they will be inserted into the client's account settings later.

Step 2: Name the custom drug screen search

Rename an unused Labcorp Custom Drug Search. This can be completed by clicking System Settings -> Search Names. Look for searches labeled "Labcorp".

*NOTE* If there are no available Labcorp Custom Drug Screens, then more can be added from the System Settings screen.

Go to System Settings -> Custom Drug Screening Setup -> choose your newly named drug search from the dropdown list as shown below:

Step 3: Configure the custom drug screen under System Settings

Once deverus has configured the search for the Labcorp integration, you can configure the matching ("import") options for the custom drug search.

Go to System Settings -> Custom Drug Screening Setup and select your newly named drug search from the dropdown.

When creating an integrated Labcorp drug screen for the first time, the Providers Product can be filled in and saved as the internal name for the custom drug screen. This is useful for drug matching purposes but also to allow you as the CRA to name the drug screen something other than its customer-facing name.

*NOTE* Existing Provider Product names can also be edited by selecting the 'Edit Product Name' button, typing the new Providers Product name and clicking 'Update.'

Import Option - Select the matching (Import) option for how a result from the Labcorp service will get matched to the deverus platform.

Step 4: Make the search available to clients

Now that the search has been created and configured, add the search to your client's ordering process. You can allow ordering of the search in one of the following ways:

  1. By Client Type - Go to theClient Type settings -> Search Options. Select the checkbox next to the search name to enable the search for this client type. Then, add it to the ordering box and assign it a price. Client Type settings -> Edit Ordering Box. This enables all of the clients under this client type to order the search.

  2. By Package - Add the search to a package for a client or client type. This allows the client to order the custom search by ordering the package. Client Type settings -> Client Type Packages or Client settings -> Personalized Packages.

Step 5: Arrange Client settings for Labcorp

A new section in the Client Information Editor has been created to add and edit Labcorp codes. This section is called Labcorp Direct Account Settings.

**If you do not see the section "Labcorp Direct Account Settings" then please set "New Labcorp Integration" to "Yes" under the Additional Settings section**

Follow these steps to complete the setup process:

  1. Create a client level account and add the Labcorp provided Account number to it.

  2. Designate the account as a DOT ( if applicable ) and assign a Testing Authority ( if DOT ). Some drug test products may have multiple Accounts with or without a DOT. For this reason, the option to add multiple accounts per client is available.

    mceclip0.png
  3. Add the Labcorp provided Product Code to the corresponding Product Name. The Product Name is taken from the name typed in on the previous step. Please Note: If you do not see the desired product names listed, ensure that the search types are enabled for the client (Client Type Level -> Search Types).

  4. Select the account number under the Account column to apply to the product.

  5. Select an Expiration Time. This can only be applied for the entire client, not individual drug screen. A search will go into Delay status if it has exceeded the expiration.

Ordering the Drug Screen

Drug tests can be added to any package or bundle, or ordered a la carte. The Labcorp Direct integration will require an applicant email in order to send them a the registration number and list of collection sites.

*NOTE* If the applicant email address is not added at the time of order, the donor schedule email will be sent to the HR user's email address by default. The HR User contact email address will always be CC'ed on the applicant's registration email.

The email will show the top 5 lab locations within 40 miles of the applicant's zip code. If no applicant zip is provided the HR client's zip will be used. Below is a sample Labcorp registration:

  • The expiration date is set to the end of that business day (11:59 pm to be exact).

  • Please Note: When a LC Registration link expires, the search will move from 'Pending' to 'Delay' status.
