Video Instructions on i3 drug screen setup:

Step 1: Gather i3screen Data

Contact i3screen for sign up and required information -> http://i3screen.com. All required information to setup a custom drug screen is provided by i3screen and is shown below:

SHARED CLIENT NAME: Client name, assigned by i3screen
SHARED CLIENT ORG ID: Unique number assigned by i3screen
SHARED CLIENT LOC ID: Unique number assigned by i3screen
COLLABMRO/Product Codes: Product code, alpha-numeric, example: D2UFLQD21609N
PANEL: Drug screen panel name (example: 10 PANEL + MDMA+OXY)
LAB: Lab name (example: 'LabCorp', 'Quest', or 'i3Screen')
SPECIMEN TYPE: Lab specimen description (example: Urine)
ACCOUNT TYPE: "DOT" or "Non-DOT."
i3 RECRUITER ID: Username assigned by i3screen, for User settings (typically an email address)

Step 2: Name the Custom Drug Screen Search

There are three different types of custom drug screen searches available in System Settings that are pre-configured for their respective results entry pathway (i.e. manual entry, i3screen integration, Labcorp Direct integration):

*NOTE* If you need more Custom Drug Screens, they can be added from the System Settings screen using the Add button as shown above.

  • From System Settings, click on Search Names under the Searches section.

  • Find an unused custom drug screening search with 'i3screen' in the name; for example, "Custom Drug Screening 95 (i3screen)."

  • Type a new name in the field to replace the default name (for example, "LABCORP - 5 Panel Hair"). Save the new name by clicking Update Report Names at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Configure the Custom Drug Screen in the System Settings

Now, the drug screen needs to be configured in the System Settings. This can be done by going into System Settings -> under Custom Drug Screening Setup -> choose your newly named Custom Drug Screening search name from the dropdown:

A screen similar to the below should appear:

1. From this screen, you will need to add the i3 Providers Product first.

2a. If you are using ONLY Quest or ONLY other non-Labcorp labs, then add your product codes under the "Non-Labcorp" product heading. Multiple product codes need to be comma-separated with no spaces (formatting example: D2UFLQD65304N,D2BATI3NONDOTBREATHALCOHOL).

2b. Please click the blue SAVE button in order to save these codes:

2c. If you are using a LabCorp product only OR a LabCorp AND Quest product, then click "Add" under LabCorp products and add the Product Description -> click the blue SAVE icon.

This will create a field under the clients' additional settings where you will input your product codes from i3 (see step 5).

*NOTE* These fields can be edited in the future by clicking the pencil icon next to the field you would like to edit.

3. After you have added the Providers Product under the correct heading, select the Providers Product from the dropdown at the top of the page, select the Import Option (Click here for import options descriptions) you would like to use for the drug screen results and click SAVE:

Step 4: Make the Search Available to Clients

Now that the search has been created and configured in System Settings, the search must be added to the client's ordering process. The search can be enabled for a client in one of the following ways:

  1. By Client Type - Go to the Client Type settings -> Search Options. Select the checkbox next to the search name to enable the search for this client type. Then, add it to the ordering box and assign it a price. Client Type settings -> Edit Ordering Box. This enables all of the clients under this client type to order the search.

  2. By Package - Add the search to a package for a client or client type. This allows the client to order the custom search by ordering the package. Client Type settings -> Client Type Packages or Client settings -> Personalized Packages.

Step 5: Configure Client Settings

Now, the search will need to be configured at the client level. This is done under Client Settings -> Additional Settings.

1. Enter the Location ID and OrgID from i3screen in the respective fields.

2. For clients who will be ordering drug screens from LabCorp, add the LabCorp lab product code. If the search is using LabCorp and Quest for the same drug screen, then both codes will need to be added below.

*If the search is for Quest ONLY, you can skip the step below.* Quest products do not need the product code added UNLESS both LabCorp and Quest labs are being used for the same drug search.

If using multiple product codes, they need to be comma-separated with NO SPACES. Be sure to list the Labcorp code first followed by the Quest code. Example: [Labcorp product code],[Quest product code]

*NOTE* Please ensure the product codes are entered in the product code field corresponding to the Providers Product that was added in Step 3.

5a. Expiration and DOT Set-Up

If a client will be using DOT type drug testing, then a DOT testing authority must be chosen. Options are FAA, FMCSA, FRA, FTA, HHS, NRC, PHMSA, USCG are all listed in the drop-down.

The value set here will be the default Testing Authority for the client. If FMCSA is chosen, then the applicant or HR user must provide state and CDL number (HR ordering, SwiftHire).

*NOTE* If a product code has a ‘1’ as the second character, then it is a DOT drug screen. If there is a ‘2’ as the second character, then it is NON-DOT drug screen.
EX) DOT: D1UFLQD65304N and Non-DOT: D2UFLQD65304N

The clients' additional settings also include the field to set the i3screen donor expiration number of hours as shown below:

Step 6: Add the i3screen Recruiter ID in the User settings

Add the Recruiter ID for each User who will be ordering drug screens. This is found under Client Editor -> View Users -> User Settings -> Additional Options at the very bottom -> i3screen User ID (RecruiterID)

mceclip6.png

*NOTE* i3screen provides this Recruiter ID. It is typically an email address.

Optional Step 7: Send i3screen Status Updates to User Email

This feature allows you to choose whether or not your clients will receive i3 search status updates via email. All of the i3 generated notes will be sent out (scheduled, expired, etc). These updates are sent to the users' result email address under their user settings.
