Vero2Vero Connections

This refers to a connection between two CRAs on the deverus platform. If you have a researcher or a client that is also a deverus CRA, simply request a connection and we can get you going. This method of connecting allows you to instantly send requests and results for most search types, including Custom Searches.

How to set up a Vero2Vero connection

  1. Talk with the other deverus CRA you wish to work with (whether they are providing research or you are), and make sure you agree on pricing and any other business decisions you need to make.

  2. Add the other company as a client or researcher as appropriate. For the communication method, choose Online Only. Don't worry about the password you choose, the company will not need to login to your system once they're connected with Vero2Vero.

    1. When setting up the client, deverus will select the proper value for this field if the client is a deverus client, and if you are connecting to this client via a Vero-to-Vero Connection.

  3. Make sure the other company adds you to their deverus system, the same way you added them (if you added them as a researcher, then they'll add you as a client, or vice versa).

  4. Submit a support ticket to deverus and let us know that you and the other company wish to be connected using Vero2Vero. We will work on the setup from there.

  5. After the setup is complete, test the connection with the other company by having the client company order a test search, and confirming that the research company receives it automatically in their system. Then have the research company send results, and ensure that it appears automatically in the client's system. If there are any issues, just let us know by responding to the original ticket, and we'll take care of it.

How to configure a Custom Search for Vero2Vero

When setting up a vero2vero custom search, you must make sure your custom searches are mapped to the same fields in both systems.

If setting up a vero2vero custom search, include the custom search number in the ticket. This can be found in System Settings>Search Names.

The search will need to be setup exactly the same in both the client CRA and researcher CRA systems. Search Category, Results Entry Options, Required to Order, and Additional Ordering fields must be identical.

If there is ever a mismatch between the 2 custom searches, the system will use the client CRA's search config as the default.
