Home Page Ads, also called Banners or Banner Ads, can be displayed in the HR module to help advertise your products and services. Some ads have already been created by deverus and advertise features such as I-9 Verifications, MVR searches, drug testing, etc. There is no cost to include these ads in the HR module. Steps for incorporating Home Page Ads at the global, client type, and client level are below.

Global Ads

  1. Click on System Settings in the top right under profile, the Manage Home Page Ads

  2. Scroll down to the Verocity section at the bottom, and click on the Manage Home Page Ads. Each ad is displayed at full size, with a checkbox next to each.

  3. At the top is a link to Select All to opt into all ads

3. For each ad shown below, checking or unchecking the ad to add will determine it's visibility in the Verocity homepage.

4. In addition to the checkbox, there is an Optional Hyperlink textbox above each ad, as shown in the above screenshot. To make the ad clickable, fill in the complete URL (starting with http://) to a page that gives more information about the feature.

5. Save changes

Ads for Client Types

To create ad opt-in settings for a specific client type that differ from the global settings:

  1. Navigate to Sales > Client Types, and click on the client type

  2. Click the Home Page Ads link at the bottom of the list of links for the client type.

  3. Follow steps 3-5 above to customize the settings for just this client type.

  4. To revert to the global settings, click the checkbox next to Delete the settings for this customer type. Then click to revert back to the global settings.

Ads for Individual Clients

If there is a specific client that needs to see different ads than the client type or global settings dictate, then it can set up at the client level individually. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to Clients > View Clients.

  2. Bring up the desired client in the editor, either by:

Browsing for the client by letter using the links to the right of the words active clients;

Searching for the client using the fields on the page, and then clicking the link that states Click Here to Edit Client Information on the snapshot of the client you wish to edit.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the client editor and click on Home Page Ads, then click on click here to edit Home Page ad settings for this client.

4. Follow steps 3-5 as listed under the Global Ads section above to apply ads to this single client.

5. To revert to the global settings, click the checkbox next to Delete the settings for this customer type. Then click to revert back to the global settings.
