Overview

To improve email performance, deverus has changed how some emails are sent. Prior to this change, email results would be sent on behalf of the CRA by the deverus domain of screening.services though it would list the from email as the CRA domain chosen from the system profile. This caused some email security protocols to reject them (from domain did not match the actual sender). This new process mimics the way deverus sends emails for SwiftHire on behalf of an HR user.

Note: You can override the default system profile by applying a specific branding profile on the client/client type level. For more information on Client Branding, please review our Knowledge Base article here: Client Branding.

This change will help reduce email bounces, suppressions, and other email policy blockages.

Applicant Result Email

Applicant Result emails will be sent with a From email display of the following convention:
Client Company name first (Pulled from applied branding system Profile) then add name to prefix with domain (if more than one word, spaces will be removed)

  • E.g “Acme Backgrounds” <[email protected]>

  • The 'Reply To' address will be pulled from the applied Branding profile email address.

HR User Result Email

HR User Result emails will be sent with a From email display of the following convention:
Client Company name first (Pulled from applied branding system Profile) then add name to prefix with domain (if more than one word, spaces will be removed)

  • E.g “Acme Backgrounds” <[email protected]>

  • The 'Reply To' address will be pulled from the applied Branding profile email address.

Invoice Delivery Email

The delivery invoice email to an HR client will follow the same naming convention but will not honor the applied branding profile settings. The company name will be taken from the Default branded System Profile.

  • The 'Reply To' address will be pulled from the Default Branding profile email address.

NOTE: Some clients may need to whitelist this new sender email address in order to receive emails as expected
