Accessing QA

If you have the QA permission enabled, you will have two different ways to access searches that have been placed in QA. The first way is to navigate to QA > Result Review (or to use the Search Statistics box in the Dashboard), which shows all searches in QA and allows you to filter by client, researcher, or search type. The second way is to bring up a search in the Report Finder or one of the Pending reports, and then to click the Quality Review status link in the upper left to go directly to the QA view of that search.

When viewing the snapshot version of a search (using the results of the Report Finder, or when clicking the ID of a search from the Pending by Days or Pending by Zones report), any search in QA status will have Quality Review as part of the status link in the upper left, as shown below.

Using the QA tab and the Results Review page

When you navigate to QA > Results Review (or click the number of searches in QA from the Search Statistics box in the Dashboard), you'll get a page like this:

The oldest searches are listed at the top, you can change your sorting range by using the "Sort Results by" option. Click the column heading to sort data in ascending order (up arrow). Click again to sort in descending order (down arrow). Click a third time to reset order. You can scroll to the search you wish to QA, or you can use the appropriate filter at the top to filter by client, researcher, or report type. (Click the go button after choosing a specific client, researcher, or search type.).

Verifying your Search

Each search type will have a slightly different QA depending on the fields inputted in the entering results process.

Start by clicking the search ID. You will see some variation of the following screen unless you are viewing an Instant Criminal Search. To view those in QA please see Instant Criminal Records in QA.

In section A, you can view search details and enter a "review by name". Note that all searches that complete the QA process will have an automated admin note added by the system stating the name of the logged in user that completed the QA process.

In section B, you can review the details of the charges, verifications etc. and decide on what is acceptable to report to the client.

View Past Address History in QA

If you need to compare results from the "Past Address History Trace or SSNT Trace", you can easily do this by clicking on the SSN number from QA.

View all searches in QA and Follow Up Option

All searches attached to the applicant's report are now viewable in the QA screen. This is to ensure the processor can tell quickly if counties or additional research needs to be ordered. You will also now see a follow up check box. Searches marked as follow up can be viewed from the QA Queue screen, and the processor can quickly tell if this was ordered outside of the the original order.
