What we'll review:
Adding A Consumer Dispute to an existing Report
New Searches in QA for a Candidate with a Previous Dispute
deverus offers a custom search in which you can order a "Consumer Dispute" and attach it to a current report. This search type can be used to gather additional information, track progress on an investigation and complete any final findings.
Additionally, QA users will be able to identify when a subject has an existing dispute already recorded in the system for County or Statewide searches.
This will help ensure you are aware of any past disputes for a candidate, thereby helping prevent potentially misreporting the same information again. It will also serve as another alert for your QA team to take extra precaution when validating the information on the report.
Using the New Consumer Dispute Custom Search
A new Custom Report Search will be added to your system: Consumer Dispute.
Before it can be used, you will need to assign your researcher and enable the search for your clients, as you would any other search.
Adding A Consumer Dispute to an existing Report
You can add a Consumer dispute to an existing Record from the Report Level.
Select order more searches for this report
From the list of Individual searches, select Consumer dispute, and click the Order Searches button
The candidate information will be pre-populated from the existing report.
Verify the information and click Continue
Proceed to the Consumer dispute Ordering screen and enter the required SearchID of the disputed search.
Click Continue
On the Order Confirmation tab, click Place Order
When you view the Report Level, you can see the Consumer Dispute search has been added to the report
(*Note; The SearchID you entered when adding the Consumer Dispute is in the Detail)
You can enter results for the Consumer Dispute Search directly from the search level.
New Searches in QA for a Candidate with a Previous Dispute
Once a candidate has a completed Consumer Dispute in your system, it will be automatically linked to any future County or Statewide Criminal searches (for the same jurisdiction), based on the Candidate DOB, Last Name, and SSN
For Example:
Client A has added a Consumer Dispute for a Statewide Criminal search for their Candidate
Client B later orders a Statewide Criminal Search for the same candidate and same state
Based on the results of that search and the Client's QA settings, the search is sent to QA
When your QA user reviews the search, the details include a link to the existing Consumer Dispute
