What’s New

1. New “Related Searches” Column

We’ve added a Related Searches column to help you quickly identify whether a county or statewide criminal search already exists for the same applicant on the current report.

Important Clarification:
The Related Searches column checks if a search has already been ordered on this report with an exact match:

  • Name: Must be an exact match on first, middle, and last name.

  • Jurisdiction: Must also match exactly.

    • Statewide search (SWCR): State match.

    • County search (COCR): County and State match.

If the applicant name or jurisdiction is not an exact match, it will not be displayed in the Related Searches column.

Linked & Informative:

  • The Search ID is hyperlinked directly to the corresponding search (opens in a new tab).

  • The column also shows the current search status (e.g., Pending, Complete, Hold).

  • If both a county and state search exist on the report, they are shown together in the column (with a line break between them).

  • Hover over the Search ID to preview the search card, notes, and more without leaving the page.

  • Any new follow-up searches ordered from the QA page will also automatically appear here for easy monitoring.

2. Hover Over Applicant Name

You can now hover over the "i" icon next to the applicant’s name in the header for a quick view of the entire report:

  • When you hover, a window with the report details will open and remain open until you close it.

  • If you click the applicant’s name, you will be taken directly to the full report level in a new tab.

This gives you more flexibility in how you review INCR and applicant data during the QA process without needing to open extra tabs!

3. Updated Layout & Workflow

The page has a cleaner, more modern look that makes information easier to scan. Core QA functions remain the same, including:

  • Clicking Names to review individual case details.

  • Ordering Follow-Up Searches directly from the QA page.

  • Attention Column alerts for older or ambiguous records, where applicable.

  • Custom Result text box to clarify results or direct clients to follow-up searches.

Why This Matters

These updates give you:

  • Greater Visibility with quick previews for applicant details, INCR results, and related searches.

  • Smarter Matching that ensures only exact name + jurisdiction searches already on the report are displayed.

  • Time Savings by reducing duplicate orders and surfacing search status in real time.

  • Streamlined Monitoring with all related and follow-up searches available in one place.
