What we'll review:
Completing a Criminal search as No Record
Adding Criminal Results
The deverus admin module allows administrators to manually process Criminal search types. This is helpful for situations that require the search to be processed before an assigned researcher can process it.
Completing a Criminal Search as 'No Record'
A Search can be completed as 'No Record' by navigating to the specific search in the admin module. On the search card, there is an option to select 'No Record.' Before selecting 'No Record,' the type of records searched to conclude the investigation as a 'no record' must be selected.
The available record selections are:
Felony Only
Misdemeanor Only
Felony and Misdemeanor
Indictable Offense
Conviction Only
After selecting the number of years searched and the Records searched, an administrator can click 'Go' to submit the search as a 'No Record.' A Criminal search that is completed as a 'No Record' will show as the image below on the final report:
Completing a Criminal Search with a Record
Similar to completing a search with No Record, adding a record begins by locating the search where a record can to be added. On the search card, there is an option to select 'Record.' When selecting 'Record,' the page will load an option to dictate how many charges the new case contains.
Once the number of Charges is entered, and 'Next' is selected, the next page will present all items that allow the Admin user to manually enter the Charge information.
*NOTE* The 'SSN on File' field has been updated to be an open form field. This change was made to better receive case information from integrated researchers and other integrations. This field previously had three individual fields respective to the 3-2-4 digit formatting of the SSN.
After adding a case, the admin user will have the option to add more cases or 'Finalize and Submit RECORD'
After selecting 'Finalize and Submit RECORD,' the search will follow QA then Report Grading ( if either are applicable ). Once the search is completed, it will show as the image below on the final report:
