Client-Level Formatting

There are two main sections where an Admin user can adjust various elements of formatting for completed reports at the global level. An Admin user can access these by going to System Settings (under your Admin name in the top right-hand corner) and, in the Searches section, you will find Result Report Format and Result Report Order.

Result Report Format

Within this section, you can choose the information to be displayed on final reports and even control the text alignment:

Summary

If enabled, the 'Summary' will be displayed towards the top of the final report and will briefly outline the searches ordered along with their statuses.

In the area labeled 'Subject Information' you will find areas that display SSN and DOB. These fields can be truncated on a client type or client level under 'Ordering Options.'

Tip: You can enable the Summary and then edit specific HR user permissions should they only have access to view the summary and not the full details of the report.

Result Report Order

In this area, you can group similar search types, modify the order in which different search types are arranged, and even create search-specific (or group-specific) Headers and Footers.

To reorder searches (or a group of searches), choose the Order Number to ensure they will be listed at that spot in chronological order and click Update. For example, if you have a group of Criminal searches as shown in the screenshot below, select the Order Number '1' and click Update for the Criminal search group to appear first on the final report details.

The search-specific Header and Footer information is also accessible here. Headers and Footers allow you to add text or a disclaimer to your reports directly above or below the search results. The Header will be located between the search type name and the actual results, and the Footer will be located directly beneath the results.

Client and Client Type Result Report Format

Result Report Format settings can also be configured at the Client Type or Client level.

*NOTE* The ability to truncate the SSN and DOB on the final reports exists only as a client-level setting.
