Question: How can I view the reason for Rejection?

Answer: When your clients move an applicant to the Rejected status, they can now select from a list of reasons for why the applicant was not hired. A tool has been added so that they can configure their own reason codes. Additionally we created a report for this data that can be accessed under My Account - > Reports -> Reasons for Applicant Rejection. This report will output similar to the EEOC where it lists by job, the reason selected for rejecting an applicant and the percentage amount for each reason.

Question: In VeroHire, which recruiters can see which applications? Do all recruiters see all applications, or do they only see applications for jobs assigned to them?

Answer: When you have the Career Center turned on for a client, each job must be assigned to a recruiter. That recruiter can only see applicants for the job assigned to him/her.

If you want to create a "master" recruiter that sees all jobs, you can assign multiple recruiters to a single job - the master recruiter plus the individual recruiter. That way, the master recruiter could see all jobs (assuming you assign him/her to all jobs), but the individual recruiters would only see the jobs assigned to them.

Please note that, if you don't have the Career Center turned on, there's only one application and thus every recruiter can see every applicant. If you later turn on the Career Center, all applications submitted before the change can be seen by everyone, but all applications submitted after the change can only be seen by the recruiter assigned to the job in question.

Question: Does the online application give the applicant the ability to specify 'DO NOT CONTACT EMPLOYER' when filling out employment verification information

Answer: No. Currently the online application does not have this feature built into it.

Question: Does 'Send to Screening' work with search packages that are already set up in the system

Answer: Yes. Send to Screening currently takes you to the 'Order Reports' tab.

In order to add a custom package, the user will need to click on 'Custom Packages' link. On the page, select the appropriate package from the list and click 'Continue'.

The Profile page and search pages should be automatically populated with the applicant information.

Question: Are maiden names / aliases being captured in the default online application that comes with VeroHire?

Answer: No. Maiden names / aliases currently are not being captured in the default online application that comes with VeroHire.

Question: Is sensitive subject information fully visible to HR users?

Answer: No. SSN and DOB are truncated.

Question: Is SSN and DOB from the application used to populate an order if subject is Sent to Screening?

Answer: When a subject is sent to screening, the SSN and DOB will only be used if the application has the fields enabled to ask the subject for them as shown below:
