Release Notes July 25, 2024: Updates to Additional Report Delivery Functionality

What's New:

We have updated the conditions and verbiage for automatically emailing final background check reports to additional recipients. These enhancements ensure the correct parties receive these reports, improving clarity and functionality for all users involved.

Impact:

  • Admin Users

  • HR Users

  • Applicants

  • Third-Party Recipients added by HR Users

Goal: To streamline the report delivery process specific to third parties/additional recipients, ensuring clarity in communication and proper report dissemination to the intended recipients.

Changes and Updates:

  1. Admin Module Ordering:

    • Current: Field labeled 'Enter the applicant's email if you wish to send them a copy of the final report by email.'

    • Updated: Field now labeled 'Enter email to receive completed report.'

  2. Report Level Notifications:

    • Current: Notification reads 'emailed final report to applicant at…'

    • Updated: Notification now reads 'See Report Activity For Email Logging.'

  3. HR Module Ordering:

    • Current: Field labeled 'Send Report to Applicant' with a checkbox for 'by email.'

    • Updated: The 'Send Report to Applicant' header and the 'fax option' have been removed. The checkbox now reads 'Check this box to send a copy of the report to a third party.'

  4. Settings Labels:

    • Current: Global/Client Type/Client Settings item labeled 'Applicant Result Delivery.' Verbiage reads 'Do you want clients to be able to send a copy of the final report to the applicant?' with options to enable the ability to email and/or fax.

    • Updated: Global/Client Type/Client Settings item label updated to 'Report Result Delivery.' Verbiage now reads 'Allow clients to be able to send copies of the final report to designated emails other than the consumer?' where the fax option has been removed.

  5. Email Subject Line and Body Update:

    • Current: Email subject line for third-party recipients reads 'Copy of your background report.' The email body states, 'Attached is a copy of your background report which was ordered and received by {Client Name}.'

    • Updated: Email subject line will now read, 'Copy of Background Report - {Applicant Name}.' The email body now states, 'Attached is a copy of the background report which was ordered and received by {Client Name}.'
