Answering the Compensation Question in HR Module
Viewing Salary in Admin Module
Viewing Salary during Quality Review Process
When enabled, the Compensation Question feature prompts the HR user for the applicant’s yearly compensation during the order process in the HR module, to determine if research can be completed beyond 7 years. The compensation question is triggered by the applicant’s state, and you can configure the states that trigger this question in the admin module. The salary entered during the order process will display only in the admin module on the search level in the Report Finder, and on the search during the QA Process.
Compensation Question Setup
The Compensation Question can be enabled at the Global, Client Type, or Client level. System Settings -> Compliance Setting -> for Compensation Question, change to Yes and select any states where the salary information will need to be provided.
Ordering Process
Based on the exempt states selected during setup (either at the Global, Client Type, or Client level), the compensation question will appear only if the applicant's primary address is located in one of those exempt states:
The following message will appear, and the HR user will be prompted to enter the salary: 'The position this person is applying for may be exempt from any state restrictions on how far back records may be searched because the salary meets the state criteria.'
View Salary on Search Card
The salary information entered by the HR user is visible in the admin module, on the search card:
The State Exempt Salary field is also displayed on the final report when full results viewing is enabled.
View Salary During Quality Review
For ease of access, the salary entered for the Compensation Question is also displayed during the Quality Review process as shown below:
