Verification request worksheets

Verocity has a feature that allows you to work directly with businesses and schools for Education Verifications, Employment Verifications, and Professional License Verifications. For these three types of searches, you can create a Request Worksheet which takes the essential details of the search request, plus information you can add, and either emails or faxes it directly to your preferred contact at the business or school. Then, when you receive the verification results, you can enter them into the system and complete the search. This system also allows you to send the same verification to multiple contacts if you wish, and to see who gets you accurate results the fastest.

Generating and sending a Verification Request

To generate a verification request worksheet, pull up an Education Verification, Employment Verification, or Professional License Verification search snapshot (using the Report Finder or a Pending by Days/Zones report). Then, on the search summary, click 'Send Request Sheet.'

You will get a screen like the following, where you can enter the details of the request worksheet.

  • Location: Enter either the email address or the fax number of the researcher you wish to send the request to, or enter both to send the request by both email and fax.

  • Recipient Information: Enter the name and title of the person at the business or school who can verify the applicant. You can also enter up to 5 lines of additional info, which will appear under the recipient's name.

  • Include Document(s): If any documents have been uploaded for this search, they will be available to be attached to the Request Sheet. If you do wish to include attachments, you need to make sure they're uploaded from the search summary screen before you get to the Verification Request form.

Click 'Send' to send the request sheet.

The recipient can edit the email, or write directly on the fax, to indicate results, and then can reply to the email or fax it back to you. Once you receive it, you'll enter the results into the system.

Changing your company's contact info on a Verification Request

Your company's contact info will display in the upper right corner of the verification. This contact info comes directly from your default profile on the system, which is also used to populate report headers along with client module contact information.

You can change the contact information from the System Settings link in the upper right. From System Settings, use the System Profile link and choose Default from the dropdown list. Then you can change the customer service phone or fax number. This will change the info used in report headers and the client module as well.

Company Physical Address,
main customer service phone number,
Company fax number

Is there a way to customize verification questions at all or by client?

Yes, via tailored solution but with the same caveat that any integration built to the standard specifications will no longer work for your verifications.

Saving the Verification Request

1) Open Verification Request email.

2) Save entire email as a PDF.

3) Once saved you can then go back and update the form.

4) Save completed PDF.

5) Then you can attach the PDF to an email or print and fax.
