What's New:
We have introduced a robust feature to improve the management and distribution of 613A adverse action notices. This enhancement allows for automated sending of these notices based on specific search triggers, improving compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Updates:
Global Configuration for 613A Notices:
CRAs can now define which search types trigger 613A notices at the global level, allowing greater flexibility in applying compliance rules across different searches. The can be found under System Settings > Compliance Settings and allows CRAs to apply compliance rules across various search types from a centralized location.Automated Notice Sending (for Non Snail Mail States):
Upon completion of a triggering search with a flag, the system automatically sends a 613A notice via email (if an email is associated with the consumer). For searches where no email is available, the notice is routed to a print/review queue.Configurable Email Subject Line:
CRAs can now configure the subject line of 613A emails, enabling better communication and customization for recipients. This can be managed under System Settings > 613A LetterPrint/Review Queue for Non-Email Notices:
Any search without an associated consumer email address will be directed to a print/review queue, ensuring notices that require physical mailing are processed appropriately.Single Trigger Per Report:
A 613A notice will only be triggered once per report, preventing duplicate notices for the same report.Email Bounce Management:
If an email notice bounces, it will be automatically routed to the print/review queue for further action, ensuring that no notices are missed.Delivery Logging:
Email success or failure is logged at the report level, giving users full visibility into the delivery status of each 613A notice.
Impact:
This enhancement significantly improves the compliance workflow by automating the 613A notice distribution process. CRAs will benefit from reduced manual effort, ensuring that notices are delivered promptly, whether electronically or via physical mail. The added ability to configure the email subject line enhances communication, and logging ensures complete visibility into delivery outcomes for emailed notices.
