TLS Update

Today, we're announcing our intent to disable Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.1 by default in supported versions of Deverus systems by November 15, 2020.
This change, alongside similar announcements from the whole industry, as well as the official deprecation of the protocol from all major browsers, is in favor of prioritizing more performant, secure connections, helping advance a safer browsing experience for everyone.
For these reasons, all customers should begin to move off of TLS 1.1. Newer versions enable more modern cryptography and are broadly supported across modern browsers.
If you have any questions please reach out to our user success department.

Fixes

This week deverus is releasing an update that will allow the CRA to delete Swifthire custom consent templates, provided the template is not being used by a client or client type. The CRA will see a new drop-down on the Swifthire settings screen "Choose a template to delete".

Only templates that are not associated with a client or client type will be available for deletion. If the CRA wishes to delete the template currently in use, it will first be necessary to set the client to use a different template.

The clients and client types a template is associated with can be found at the bottom of the screen:
