This week's release includes an enhancement to the Applicant Portal and applicant experience. Now, when an adverse or pre-adverse letter is added to a report, the applicant will receive an action alert in the portal, letting them know there is a notice to review once their report is completed:

'You have an important notice from your employer or prospective employer. Please click “View Report” once your report is completed to view a copy of this notice.'

We fixed a bug with phone number validation on EMPVs that was causing errors when some applicants submitted their Swifthires. Previously, applicants could enter an invalid employer phone number (such as 000-000-0000) on the EMPV, but they were not able to submit the Swifthire due to an error triggered on the back-end. Now, the applicant must enter a valid employer phone number to continue past the EMPV search.

We also fixed a bug which was causing truncated SSNs to display as 10 digits on the final report.
