February 16, 2023 - Maintenance Window and Other Improvements

We enhanced the "Level of Education" field on the SHM EDUV screen to a drop-down defaulted to "Select One" and underlined it in red. We also moved "Level of Education" between "Name of Institution" and above the "Major" field to help prevent applicants from missing this field.

With this release the Applicant Portal will strip leading or trailing spaces from the applicant "first" and "last" name in an effort to cut down on "name does not match" errors.

We implemented a maintenance window on Friday and Saturday nights to prevent applicants from submitting Swifthires during indexing hours. If an applicant tries to fill out their application during the window, they will receive the maintenance window screen with instructions to try again in a few hours.
