The first step is creating the export from within the administration module. To do this you will need to login to the administration module as a user with accounting privileges set to yes. Take the following steps:

  1. Click the Accounting tab

  2. Click View Client Invoices

  3. Use the Client Invoice Finder to search for the invoices you want to import to QuickBooks.

  4. Select Export all invoices below to QuickBooks export all of the selected invoices or export individual invoices by selecting Export invoice to QuickBooks within each invoice box.

This creates an IFF file that is the preferred file type for Quickbooks importing.

An email with the file will be sent to your accounting department. This email is located in system setting>departments>accounting.

  1. Fill out the following information:

    1. Quickbooks Job (for Chart of Account)

    2. Terms

    3. Inventory Item

    4. Invoice Memo

  2. If you need to resend an invoice to Quickbooks, you can mark an invoice as unsent, the same as you would with the CSV export.
