Improvements

1. Modernized Client Signup Forms

What's New

Modernized client signup forms with enhanced visual design and improved user interface.

Key Updates

Updated form styling, layout, and visual elements to create a more contemporary and professional appearance during the client onboarding process.

Impact

Clients will experience a more streamlined, intuitive, and visually appealing signup process, making it easier to complete the signup process and join the platform.

2. Updated Ordering Click-Thru Certification Verbiage

What's New

We’ve updated the certification language that HR users must acknowledge before submitting a background screening order. This is a wording-only change and does not alter any system behavior or ordering workflows.

Key Updates

New certification text:

I hereby certify that the consumer has already been provided with a written Disclosure and their written Authorization has been obtained, that the appropriate adverse action process will be followed, where applicable, that this consumer report is being obtained for employment purposes, and that the information from the consumer report will not be used in violation of any applicable Federal or State equal employment laws or regulations, all in accordance with the requirements of the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1681 et seq. Furthermore, I understand and acknowledge that the background screening components have been selected by the End User based on its own hiring and compliance requirements.

Impact

This update clarifies that the background screening components included in each order are selected by the End User in accordance with its own hiring and compliance requirements.

No configuration changes are required. HR users will simply see the updated language the next time they place an order and must continue to check the certification box before proceeding.

3. Enhanced Password Standards for HR Users

What's New

We’ve enhanced our password security standards to better safeguard HR user accounts and protect against unauthorized access. HR users may be prompted to update their password on next login to meet the new requirements.

Key Updates

New password standards
When creating or updating an HR user password, it must now meet all of the following criteria:

  • The password must be unique in the system.

  • The password must have at least 10 characters.

  • The password must have at least one lowercase character.

  • The password must have at least one uppercase character.

  • The password must have at least one special character from the following list: ! @ $ % ^ & *

  • The password must have at least one number character.

  • The password is case sensitive.

Impact

No configuration changes are required. However, HR users who do not yet meet the updated standards will be required to create a new password that complies with the criteria above when prompted.

Bug Fixes

1. Fee Handling During AKA Cancellations

What's New

Fixed an issue where fees were being incorrectly removed during the cancellation process.

Key Updates

Corrected the system logic to ensure proper handling of fees when AKA cancellations occur using 'cancel associated searches,' preventing unintended fee removals.

Impact

Users will now experience accurate fee calculations when processing AKA cancellations using the 'cancel associated searches' option. This ensures correct financial accounting and prevents potential billing discrepancies that could occur with the previous behavior.
