What’s New
We’ve introduced two impactful updates aimed at improving compliance and enhancing clarity:
Updated Form I-9 Language & Instructional Content
Alias Name Source Transparency for Reports
Key Updates
1. Form I-9 Compliance Adjustments
In alignment with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) updates to the Form I-9 (Edition 01/20/25, expiration 05/31/2027), we’ve made the necessary changes according to their official announcement:
Minor Changes to Form I-9 and E-Verify Updates
2. Alias Name Transparency for CRAs
Based on feedback from CRAs and discussions at the latest PBSA conference, we’ve enhanced how alias (AKA) names are displayed and sourced.
New Behavior:
Alias names generated via SSN trace will now include an asterisk (*) next to the name.
ALL alias names will also be highlighted within the admin module’s full report view to visually distinguish them from searches on the main report name.
This improvement empowers CRAs to:
Clearly identify the source of each alias name.
Make informed decisions and maintain compliance when reviewing consumer data.
Impact
Easier audit trails and defensibility with clear indicators for SSN Trace-generated alias names. This change provides transparency and supports your compliance operations.
