News Flash is a feature that displays notifications on your client's dashboard. You can use this to quickly notify your clients of outages, coverage or pricing changes, or even holiday closures. News Flash messages can be configured at the client, client type, and global levels.
News Flash messages can be created by going to System Settings -> News Flash -> Add new -> Create News Flash -> Save
First, decide if you would like for this News Flash to be applied to the Client, Client Type or Global level -> Set to 'Active' -> Pick a start and end date (how long you want the news flash to show up on the clients dashboard) -> Type your message in the 'content' box -> hit 'save'
The note created in the News Flash tab located in system settings will be shown at the top of the clients dashboard for the selected time frame. If there are more than one News Flash set up to run in the same time frame, the notes will rotate every 7 seconds in order from newest News Flash to oldest News Flash.
