Three Researchers in one!
Instant criminal database searches are a great way to supplement any search, but no one provider gives complete search data for all counties and states. However, you can get closer than ever before by taking advantage of the SuperSearch tool built into Verocity. With this tool, you can offer an instant criminal search that searches three different instant national criminal providers simultaneously and provides a grouped and organized view of the results. In addition, you can configure and name the search providers as you wish, to mask the three sources from your clients.
To get started with SuperSearch, you must:
Customize the SuperSearch researcher network
Update your Quality Assurance settings
Rename the search and customize the description
Add the search to your search offerings for one or more clients
Customize the SuperSearch researcher network
Navigate to Researchers > Configure Researcher Network.
Scroll down, and click the GO button next to the SUPER INSTANT CRIMINAL Network.
At the top, you can pick the Primary researcher provider, which will always be the "parent" source listed when records are found (the other two providers will be listed as "child" records under the primary when records are returned).
For each state, decide which of the three researchers you wish to have searched when a SuperSearch is run, and uncheck any researchers you don't want to consult in specific states. Use the documents linked below to aid you in your choices.
Finally, at the bottom of the page, you can rename any of the reported source names; for example, you can hide the actual provider names by renaming them as Criminal Database 1, 2, and 3, if you desire.
To aid you in your decision of which states to cover with which providers, we have posted files in our Knowledge Base from each provider that has jurisdictions and/or coverage statistics for each of our three SuperSearch providers, updated monthly. Documents are listed below. Please see each article for more in-depth info.

Update your Quality Assurance settings
By default, the new SuperSearch will not send anything to Quality Assurance (QA). If you want results with records sent to QA, follow these steps.
Navigate to QA > Result Review Settings.
Choose the MASS CLIENT UPDATE TOOL from the dropdown, and click the go button.
Scroll down to SUPER INSTANT CRIMINAL SEARCH, and to make sure all current and new clients get SuperSearches with records sent to QA, check the Check all records box and let the page refresh. (You can also send all clears to QA, but this is not nearly as commonly desired.)
Rename the search and customize the description
You can change the name of SuperSearch from the default, SUPER INSTANT CRIMINAL SEARCH, to any other name you'd like. In addition, you can write your own description of the search, which will appear when someone clicks its name from your single-search ordering page.
Click on System Settings in the upper right of the page.
Under the Searches heading, click on Search Names.
Change the name of the SuperSearch as you desire, then click Update Report Names at the bottom.
Again, click on System Settings in the upper right.
Under the Searches heading, click on Search Descriptions.
Click the update link next to your newly renamed SuperSearch.
Write a description you desire. If a description is already there, feel free to change it to your likings. (If you find the HTML formatting troubling, send us a support ticket and we can assist you.)
Click the update button at the bottom.
Click view next to your SuperSearch to ensure the description looks the way you want it to.
Add the search to your search offerings
The final step in setting up SuperSearch is to offer it to your clients! Follow these standard steps to add the search for one or more clients.
Navigate to Sales > Client Types.
Find the client type you'd like to offer SuperSearch to, click its name to expand it, and click the Search Options link.
From the top section of the page that comes up, enable SuperSearch by checking it off, then save the page.
Back on the Client Types page, click the Edit Ordering Box link, and add SuperSearch to the ordering box of your choice (or create a new one).
Return to Sales > Client Types, click the client type in question, and click the Edit Pricing link.
Set the SuperSearch price for that client type to your liking.
In addition, you can add SuperSearch to any packages you desire, or create a new package that includes SuperSearch.
For any clients that have their own specific search and pricing settings, you'll need to change the settings for these individual clients to enable SuperSearch, just as you did for client types.
