Hart Software - Credit Reports and Tenant Screening

The deverus platform utilizes Hart Software to integrate to the 3 major Credit Bureaus available: TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax.

You must contact Hart to setup up this integration and they can direct you to the proper contacts for product information. They have the capability of handling TENANT, EMPLOYMENT, CREDIT, EVICTIONS reports. Our main point of contact at Hart is Bonnie Moore, though other reps can be most helpful in getting new products setup. She is aware of our system and what needs to be done to setup an account.

Once you have setup up an account with Hart and a credit provider, please contact us with the information below and we will enable your account. Information required for setup and configuration:

USERNAME
PASSWORD
CREDIT BUREAU = TransUnion, Experian, Equifax
PRODUCTS= EMPLOYMENT or CREDIT
PERMISSIONS: E.g Employment= EP, Tenant Screening = TS, Other= CT

Subscriber Code or Select Code (Subcode) For certain products

Hart's terminology for the Hart Subcode is Select Code.

*NOTE* Do NOT share the Hart subcode via email or in support ticket, the subcode should ONLY be input under the client editor .

Under the clients ordering options, you will want to choose whether you have a credit or employment type product:

For basic "Credit Reports" we will utilize the Credit Search in the system. For anything else, you will need to create a custom search. Under System Settings > Custom Search Setup, you can configure the search. To create a custom search type you would take the following steps: Configuring Custom Searches

Remember, you will need to make this search available to your clients through the Client Type options under the Sales tab. Remember, the search options section, as well as the ordering box, will need to be updated. This search is not configurable for Quality Assurance.


To obtain these codes, the CRA must first go to the credit provider ( ex. TransUnion ). Once a code is provided, the CRA must then go to HART and provide the code to them.

In return, HART software will provide a different code, which is the one to enter into the Client Editor, Hart Subcode field.

Billing Issues Resulting in Error at Search Level:

If you see this error: 'Processing Error(WS Post Return)', you will need to contact Hart Software directly and ask for Kim.

Do the credit bureaus have monthly minimums?

Currently, TransUnion and Experian have 1,000 and 1,100 a month minimums.
