The Service Reminder Notification is an automated tool that allows you to send messages after a specified number of days that a certain search type has been ordered. Each Notification can be configured at the client or client type level.

*NOTE*The Service Reminder Notification will not be sent out if the search is cancelled or completed before the reminder date. Pre-Adverse/Adverse letters are excluded from this.

The Service Reminder Notification has its own section under the client type editor and is also located under the Additional Settings at the client level.

Message Type

The Service Reminder Notification is set to trigger off of different report types. The recipient can either be set to be the applicant email address or the HR user contact email address depending on the report type.

Yes/no - If you want the Service Reminder Notification to be active for that report type.

Number of days decides how many days after a search is completed will the notification manager send the saved message.

Please Note: 0 cannot be entered for number of days.

The subject is what you want the email heading to read.
The Message is a free form. deverus has made some place holders available to use if desired.

Pre-Adverse/Adverse 2.0 Letters will automatically go out 5 days after initial pre-adverse goes out to gently remind HR users that they will have to send a followup Adverse letter if warranted. If you are using the 2.0 version, this tool will default to a hard-coded message and Number of Days setting.

When do these notifications get sent out?

deverus uses a scheduled task to review all searches that are applicable to the active notifications and will typically send them out very early in the morning.

Where can I find history of the notifications that are send out from this tool?

At this point in time, there are no notes or logging when this tool finds applicable search types to send out notifications for.
