News Flash

The News Flash feature allows you to display notifications directly on your clients' dashboards. Common uses include:

  • Service outage notifications

  • Coverage updates

  • Pricing changes

  • Holiday closures

  • General announcements

News Flash messages can be shown to a specific Client, Client Type, or even at the Global level.

Creating a News Flash

  1. Navigate to System Settings > News Flash.

  2. Select Add New.

  3. Click Create News Flash.

  4. Complete the News Flash settings:

    • Level – Select whether the message should display for a specific Client, Client Type, or Globally.

    • Status – Set the News Flash to Active.

    • Start Date and End Date – Define how long the message should be displayed.

    • Content – Enter the message you would like clients to see.

  5. Click Save.

How News Flash Messages Display

Once saved, the News Flash message will appear at the top of the selected clients' dashboards during the configured date range.

If multiple News Flash messages are active at the same time, they will automatically rotate every 7 seconds, displaying from the newest News Flash to the oldest.

Tip: Use clear, concise messaging so clients can quickly understand important updates without leaving their dashboard.
